Dr. Adeeb Alshahrour, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. He sees you through your pregnancy and attends the birth himself, at Resurrection Medical Center or Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago.
Care is in English, Arabic and Spanish, at our office on West Fullerton Avenue in Chicago and in Chicago Ridge.

When should I book my first prenatal visit?
Most first visits are around 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy. Call sooner if you have bleeding, pain, or a history that needs earlier care.
Where will I give birth?
Dr. Alshahrour delivers at Resurrection Medical Center and Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago. You decide together during your pregnancy, and it is worth checking that the hospital is in your insurance network.
Will my own doctor deliver my baby?
Yes. Dr. Alshahrour attends his own patients’ births rather than handing them to whoever is on call.
What does giving birth cost without insurance?
At Resurrection Medical Center, about $7,700–8,700 for an uncomplicated vaginal delivery and about $9,400–10,400 for a cesarean, including the hospital, our fee and anesthesia. The pediatrician and extra hospital days are extra.
Do you accept Medicaid?
